"The other spinach," nettle leaves have 3-4 times the vit c than spinach. In fact, they are more nutritious than kale and asparagus, and come with medicinal benefits as well. Nettle is a classic remedy for allergies decreasing sneezing, runny nose, hives, and itchy eyes. The seeds of nettle plants are categorized as adaptogens, to assist the body with overcoming physical and mental stress. The seeds themselves contain vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, silicon, calcium and magnesium. Adding a sprinkle of seeds to your favorite food is an excellent way to bring that nutrition into your diet.

    peppery, spinach-like, and a bit punchier. Blanched nettles are our absolute favorite around here. There is nothing like nettle gnocchi or supplementing spinach for nettle in any recipe to increase the nutritional value.
